We all own our road!
Avoid neighborhood flooding and runoff by inspecting drainage structures around your home. A major cause of flooding is caused by clogged street drainage catch basins. Clear the grate if you notice a clog.
Remind family members and guests to drive slowly in our neighborhood for the safety of our children and pedestrians.
Keep your trees and bushes trimmed to help walkers see cars, and cars see walkers!
WALK LEFT – walk facing oncoming traffic, especially if you use earbuds or headphones.
If you must meet your children at the south entrance after school bus drop-off, please do not park next to the fences. A traffic hazard is created by obstructing the road (30th Pl.) and traffic entering our neighborhood from 140th Ave NE may not be able to see you, your car or your child quickly enough to avoid an accident.
You own your dog!
Keep your dog(s) on a leash and carry a litter disposal bag for your dog.
Do NOT leave your litter disposal bag in your neighbor’s yard
Keep each other safe!
If you notice a street lamp that is burned out, please contact Puget Sound Energy at 888.225.5773. Please report the pole number. It is usually a vertical metal tag with a 12-digit number.
If you notice any suspicious cars or activity in the neighborhood, call 911. Bellevue Police really do want to hear from you!
You can send any alerts to wehoa-neighbors@googlegroups.com
Bring in your trash containers and recycle bins from the curb soon after they are emptied. Ask a neighbor to do so if you will be out of town.
